We specialize in heavy industrial construction, field installation and sight work with light fabrication capabilities in its 2,500 square foot shop. All of our equipment is EPA Tier 4 certified. With years of experience, we are prepared to help contractors navigate the ins and outs of major welding endeavors, including determining specifications, working with unions to staff projects with qualified welders, drafting and submitting weld procedures and related documentation, facilitating necessary testing and code compliance. Underground Welding
Underground welding is an unseen yet crucial component of our day-to-day activities. Past projects have included the fabrication and installation of fueling systems, piping for public resources and utilities, and levee reinforcement, to name a few. Most underground projects are not straightforward, as we often must navigate or reroute existing pipelines and infrastructure. We understand the importance of quality in these welds, the resources they carry are either hazardous or for direct public consumption. Taurus Welding offers a wide range of mechanical piping services on all system types, including steam, hot and chill water, natural gas and fuel. We’ve worked on full mechanical room builds from scratch, as well as retrofits. Our expertise in pipefitting and knack for problem solving, which inevitably comes into play, ensures efficient, precision installation and quality results.
High Voltage
Safety and precision are of utmost importance in a high voltage environment. Taurus Welding employs highly-trained, certified welders and utilizes the most current equipment and techniques, including X-Ray technologies for precision welding to ensure compliance with stringent safety protocol. Extensive experience in oil filled, welded steel conduit systems and aluminum bus fabrication & assembly guarantees the quality and safety of every project.
Stud Welding
A crucial component of heavy industrial construction, stud welding is at the foundation of most urban infrastructure. Taurus Welding utilizes modern, properly maintained equipment, all of which is EPA ll TIER 4 compliant across its stud welding projects. We have worked with CALTrans on the American River Bridge Rehabilitation Project for The California Department of Transportation in Sacramento.
